Thanks alot You say you just want a 'copy' of the old drive so you can swap them if needed. Thanks for the drive info, it looks fine to me so I think you can try to 'clone' again. Then a Symantec tech said: "Try erasing the partition on the destination disk." I did; it still didn't clone.
